| - Cook spaghetti in water, drain and set aside
- Thaw and cook artichoke hearts in a little water for about 15 minutes.
- In a blender, add basil leaves, garlic, cheese and blend.
- While blending pour in the olive oil in a steady stream.
- Add salt and blend for a few seconds more and set aside.
- Heat a pan, add the pasta, pesto, black pepper and artichoke hearts and mix well.
- Remove from stove and serve hot.
