Wild rice and veggies in orange ponzu sauce

recipe's story :     I ate a wonderful vegan dish with chili orange sauce in a restaurant while on vacation. This recipe is a variation of that dish. The sauce has is a complex combination of sweet, sour and spicy flavors.
ingredients
  • Wild rice - 2 cups cooked according to package directions
  • Garlic - 3 cloves minced
  • Ginger - 1/2 inch piece peeled and minced
  • Sesame oil - 2 tbsp
  • Broccoli florets - 1 cup
  • Baby carrots - 1 cup sliced
  • Yellow bell pepper - 1/2 cup chopped
  • Orange juice - 3/4 cup
  • Ponzu sauce - 3 tbsp
  • White balsamic vinegar - 1 tbsp
  • Red pepper flakes - 1 tbsp or to taste
  • Sea salt - 1/2 tsp
method
  1. In a bowl stir together the ponzu sauce, orange juice, vinegar and red pepper flakes.
  2. Heat sesame oil in a wok or pan and saute the ginger and garlic for a few seconds.
  3. Add the broccoli, bell pepper and carrots and stir fry for a few minutes.
  4. Stir in the sauce and salt and let it simmer for a few minutes. Make sure the vegetables remain crisp and don't over cook.
  5. Serve hot in a bowl over steaming wild rice.
